Second Annual "Cupcakes for a Cause" and Open House
Raises over $2,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

ALLENTOWN, PA - (April, 2013) The Shops at 3900 Hamilton are pleased to announce that its
Second Annual Cupcakes for a Cause and Open House on Thursday, April 25 raised over $2,000 for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Retailers from The Shops at 3900 Hamilton entered their cupcakes in for a competition of Best Tasting, Most Creative and Most Visually Appealing as judged by fans and by local celebrity judges: Wendy Knowles from Lehigh Valley Marketplace magazine; Caley Bittner from Lehigh Valley Style magazine; Mary Beth Weinstein from the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Also in attendance was Rebecca Zukowski-Gillespie, owner of Blondies in Catasauqua, and a finalist on the TV show 'Cupcake Wars.'

Cupcakes were offered by participating merchants at The Shops at 3900 Hamilton, including
Talbots, Bixler's Jewelers, Swartz Kitchens and Baths, Sovereign Bank, Milk & Honey Kids, H&R Block, ReVive! Hair Salon and The Paperbag. Winners of the competition were as follows:

"We are so happy to have partnered with The Shops at 3900 Hamilton for their second annual Cupcakes for a Cause. We raised over $2,000 for our local chapter, but more importantly, this was a great way to raise awareness for our local Cystic Fibrosis Chapter," says Mary Ann Sofronie, Development Director at the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the CF Foundation.

"Both our retailers and their clients look forward to Cupcakes for a Cause all year long," says Jonathan Epstein, of Berger-Epstein Associates, Inc., owners and managers for The Shops at 3900 Hamilton, "we always get a lot of positive feedback, and have already begun planning for next year."

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a nonprofit, donor-supported, organization dedicated to attacking CF from every angle.
